This is a nice sized, gently sloping field, situated right on the edge of Colwinston Village. Charlie’s Shop and Cafe is just the other side of the gate if you want a bite to eat and a fantastic cup of coffee, this is owned and run by the landowner.
Situated not too far from the towns of Bridgend with its superstores, pubs, fast food outlets and slightly further afield the McArthur Glen Retail Park and the contrasting market town of Cowbridge, full of lovely family businesses and fabulous restaurants.
No need to book, just turn up and check in with the steward

From the East
From the A48 Cardiff to Bridgend, as you start to descend Crack Hill, about 3 miles from Bridgend turn left down the lane with the Unsuitable for HGV signs( this is just after the Treoes/Llan-Gan turn on the right. Follow the road to Colwinston and then SWDA signs or Highfield Farm Holiday Cottage signs as you turn up the lane to Holiday Cottages, we are in the first field on the left.
From the West
Follow A48 from Bridgend towards Cardiff after about 3 miles and before crest the top of Crack Hill and before you get to the Treoes/Llan-Gan turn turn Right down the lane marked Unsuitable for HGV, rest of directions as above.
