We will be at Talybont Farm for the May Day bank holiday.
A brief stroll through the campsite leads you into Talybont, which boasts several charming pubs/restaurants and a few shops for last-minute necessities. For those seeking more energetic activities, the Brecon Beacons National Park offers excellent walks and cycle paths. Situated alongside the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal, Talybont provides the opportunity to walk or cycle along the towpath towards Brecon in one direction or Crickhowell in the other.
On arrival, please stay on the track to the right – this is to minimise damage to the field and to avoid campers getting stuck!

Directions from Brecon
Proceed on the A40 towards Abergavenny, passing the roundabout east of Brecon on the bypass. Continue for approximately 5 miles, then take the turnoff for Talybont. Do not enter Talybont; instead, turn right about a quarter-mile before reaching the village. This will lead you to the rear entrance of the site where we will be camping, marked by SWDA signs.
We are not on the commercial site, so please look for and follow the yellow SWDA signs.
