Welcome to South Wales DA!

As a unit of The Camping and Caravanning Club, we are a team of volunteers who arrange affordable weekend camping gatherings, Temporary Holiday Sites, and themed events for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas for everyone’s enjoyment. For more information, please follow the links provided below.

To join our camping, active membership in The Camping and Caravanning Club is required. Please present proof of your membership, such as a membership card, or display it digitally via the Siteseeker app to our Steward upon arrival.

South Wales DA (SWDA) is a District Association of the Cambrian & Wyvern Region of The Camping and Caravanning Club.

Weekend meets

Typically, these gatherings take place over the weekend, but they can last for up to five nights. No matter which District Association is on your membership card, a warm welcome awaits you, however please do check our Facebook page or feel free to call us, in case we have limited availability.

Temporary Holiday Sites

These sites offer great fun for all. We look forward to welcoming numerous members from various District Associations as well as from our own. The duration ranges from five to twenty-eight nights, allowing you to stay for any length of time within that period. To avoid disappointment, please do check our Facebook page or call us ahead of arrival, as some of our THSs fill up very quickly, especially on bank holiday weekends.

Themed Meets

These gatherings are incredibly enjoyable for everyone! With entertainment at most of these events, you won’t want to miss out! As with all our meets, all members of The Camping and Caravanning Club are welcome to join us. Please note, some of these events are booked meets due to limited space.

Booked Meets

Where a booked meet is indicated, reserve your spot quickly once the booking form is released as pitch availability will be limited; once filled, we’ll keep a waiting list, but we cannot guarantee a pitch. For updates on when booking forms are released, please check our Facebook page or keep an eye on the booked meets section of this website.

Limited capacity at certain locations may sometimes necessitate booking. Nevertheless, we aim to reduce the requirement for bookings as they create additional work for us. (Remember, we are all volunteers and have other full-time jobs).
